POSITION : Equipment Operator
LOCATION : Chowchilla, CA
REPORTS TO : Operations Manager
SALARY : $20.00 to $30.00 / hr., DOE

BASIC FUNCTIONS :
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various pieces of mobile equipment. Operators will push and pack waste on the landfill, load / unload trucks and trailers, move material around the facility, feed material to grinders, grade roads, and much more.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Operate various equipment such as dozers, compactors, excavators, wheel loaders, water trucks, graders, and other equipment according to company policy.
- Responsible for the safety of all staff, contractors, and visitors on site while operating
- Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is safe and operational at all
- Perform formal pre and post inspections and complete accurate inspection reports in
- Maintain equipment according to company standards and report all issues
- Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable
- Communicate with spotters to ensure the safety of all customers, team-members, and customers in the
- Ensure that all related documentation is completed in a timely
- Provide a friendly, customer focused attitude and assist when needed unloading
- Assist in various cleanup projects with and / or without
- Perform other job-related duties as
