Eventide-Tabitha is currently hiring for a Part-Time Medication Aide (MA40) for a Day shift 6a-2p (8 Hours). This position is every other Sat and Sun only. Holiday rotation.

The Medication Nurse requires an active good-standing MA40 and CNA license required

Ideal Candidate :

  • At least age 18.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
  • Evaluates emergency situations performing CPR when necessary based on training.

Essential Job Duties :

  • Provides assistance with activities of daily living including but not limited to bathing dressing grooming feeding toileting transferring / ambulation and continence.
  • Assists with Senior / client admissions discharges transfers and orientation of new employees.
  • Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
  • Prioritizes assignments making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing / overlapping Senior / client / caregiver / TEAMember / manager needs call lights when necessary.
  • Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position as assigned by Tabitha regardless of TEAMember preference.
  • Follows through on the comprehensive care plan / service plan as developed for each individual senior / client.
  • Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by insuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.
  • Additional essential functions while utilizing a MA40 :

    • Prepares and administers medications and treatments under the direction of the RN within scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies / procedures.

  • Evaluates emergency situations performing CPR when necessary based on training.
