New YorkTech College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an Assistant Professor located in the Jonesboro Arkansas campus.

Responsibilities

• Serving as an instructor in the Doctor-Patient Relationship Lab
• Serving as an instructor in the Simulation Lab
• Serving as an instructor in population health related courses
• Serving as an instructor in the case base learning course
• Serving as a mentor and / or applicant interviewer
• Participation in pre-clinical lectures and group-based discussions.
• Participation in other college labs (i.e. Anatomy OMM) based on individual skill level
• Other duties assigned for the department and / or college as the need arise

Qualifications

Preference may be given to applicants who possess any or all of the following skills or attributes : General knowledge in primary care and rural medicine. Current proficiency (or ability to develop proficiency) in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine theory and techniques. Prior teaching experience in an academic setting / medical school setting with successful demonstration of educating medical students and other health / science related students.
