A company is looking for a Patient Service Specialist to assist patients by managing incoming calls related to appointments and medical care needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a high volume of incoming patient calls, providing support and directing inquiries as needed
Document call details in the electronic medical record and ensure patient information is up to date
Deescalate issues with upset patients and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to resolve operational difficulties
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service experience in a clinical setting
1+ years of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
Ability to work full time (40 hours / week) with flexible scheduling
Must be 18 years of age or older
