Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and delivering exceptional customer service, all while carrying out armed responsibilities as required.

Pay Rate : $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Wed 09 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Thur 09 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Fri 09 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques where appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
  • Carry a company-authorized firearm while on duty, adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious activity.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and document observations as required by site protocols.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and / or customers, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Support access control measures and verify identification as required by site procedures.
  • Remain alert to unusual activities and / or situations, promptly reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
