[job_card.job_description]Punctual reporting to assigned post in uniform. Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with customers, visitors, and staff. Stay updated on all revisions to post orders and other relevant information. Proactively patrol property or monitor fixed positions, reporting suspicious activities and addressing incidents or accidents. Continuously monitor surveillance cameras and security equipment as per post instructions. Be knowledgeable about emergency policies, procedures, and regulations to effectively handle alarms and emergency situations. Complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and other necessary documentation related to your duties. Offer recommendations for improvement in safety and loss prevention during daily operations. Be familiar with life safety systems, fire alarms, CCTV systems, and ensure the safe operation of elevators and access points. Meet training and compliance requirements established by the company and regulatory agencies. Communicate daily with the Security Supervisor about any new security issues or changes requiring attention. Integrity, vigilance, and discipline as a protector of property and safety. Consistent and dedicated attention to detail. Strong customer service skills in line with our mission statement. Capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to be a collaborative team member who follows directions. Strong sense of urgency in executing tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Summary :
Join our team as a Part-Time Retail Security Specialist where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our store premises. You'll establish positive relationships with customers and local authorities while maintaining a vigilant presence to protect property and personnel. Excellent customer service is essential as you interact with visitors and staff.
Basic Functions :
- Control entrances and manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
- Conduct regular patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
- Escort personnel and materials as needed.
- Inspect security and fire safety measures.
- Undertake special assignments as directed.
