HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the Manufacturing industry in Eagan, MN!

Pay : $25-35 / hr

Shift : 2nd M-F 3p-11 : 30p

Location : Eagan, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production machines and conveyor systems to ensure continuous operation.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using precision tools and test instruments.
  • Dismantle machinery and remove / replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes.
  • Communicate preventive maintenance needs with production staff to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies; place and track orders as needed.
  • Follow all safety, GMP, and SOP procedures to maintain a clean and compliant work environment.
  • Accurately complete assignments from the Maintenance Manager / Lead Mechanic to support production uptime.
  • Participate in required training sessions for safety, GMP, and operational protocols.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Two-year degree in mechanics or 1–4 years of relevant maintenance experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machines, tools, electric motors, pumps, pressure and water systems
  • Familiarity with the care and maintenance of common hand and power tools
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals
  • Skilled in diagnosing equipment failures and implementing timely repairs
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines under pressure
  • Adaptability to changing procedures and team-based environments
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work execution
  • Safety-conscious mindset and commitment to following all regulations
  • Willingness to work overtime based on production needs
