The Medical Assistant performs routine front and back-office duties for multispecialty exams and a variety of clients, to include reception of examinees, answering phones, performing data entry in electronic health record (EHR) and case management systems, exam report reconciliation, appointment scheduling, and assisting in the examination process of examinees under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider. The Medical Assistant interviews examinees, measures vital signs and records information on examinees' charts, draws and collects blood samples from examinees, prepares specimens for laboratory analysis, and conducts a variety of diagnostic tests. Supports the organization in meeting operational goals and customer requirements.
Qualifications :
- Nationally registered CMA certificate
- At least 3 year of MA experience
- BLS or CPR
