ROLE OVERVIEW and PURPOSE :

Neighborhood Healthcare is committed to providing high-quality behavioral health services to our communities. We have an extensive wait list of patients in need of our services, and we are looking for a volunteer to help us contact these individuals and schedule their intake appointments. Your contributions will play a crucial role in helping our patients receive the care they need. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for behavioral health and an interest in contributing to a community-focused healthcare organization. Please note, this is an unpaid volunteer position.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assisting with managing and maintaining the waitlist for behavioral health services
• Calling patients to schedule intake appointments and ensure timely access to care
• Coordinating with the behavioral health team to streamline patient scheduling processes
