Maintenance Engineer (Omaha)

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer. This is a contract hire opportunity with one of the worlds premier research-intensive biopharmaceutical company and is located in Elkhorn NE.

Pay : $40 / hour plus

Required Skills

• Proven track record of safe work practices with demonstrated safety leadership
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including AC & DC drives, motor controls, PLC, and electrical controls
• Ability to interpret blueprints, P&ID diagrams, and facility drawings
• Proficiency with test equipment such as multimeters, megger, etc.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 & 70E standards, electrical circuits, and NEC codes
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems
• Competence with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), preferably SAP
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of TPM / Lean principles and continual improvement methodologies
• Boiler license and / or Journeyman Electrician license (state of Nebraska preferred)
• HVAC license and OSHA certifications (OSHA 10 / 30, NFPA 70E)
• Mechanical fabrication skills using mills, lathes, welding equipment
• Experience with predictive maintenance tools and advanced control systems
• Knowledge of automated equipment operation and troubleshooting
