• Range includes per diem and night differential. Boulder Community Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Behavioral Health Services Department, which serves the needs of young, middle, and older adults, the registered nurse functions as a direct patient caregiver within the unit's care delivery system, with increasing independence. • Colorado RN license in good standing.
• BLS required by end of conditional period.
• 1-2 years psychiatric experience preferred. Responsibilities
• Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
• Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
• Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
• Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
• Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
• Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.
• Identifies patient learning needs, develops and implements an individualized teaching plan for patients.
