A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Hardware Design - Optics.

Key Responsibilities

Design and qualify complex fiber optics transceiver modules and systems

Collaborate with R&D teams on datacenter and campus-wide network switch connectivity

Develop and document test procedures for new optical transceivers and cables

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in fiber optic communication and hardware product development

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering; Master's degree preferred

Experience with high-speed pluggable optical transceivers and related test equipment

Strong multidisciplinary background and self-motivated

Familiarity with vendor base for optical products
