CNC Lathe Operator Details :

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $ to $ / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06 : 00am to 03 : 30pm)
  • Set up CNC lathes and mills according to work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Read and understand blueprints, GD&T symbols, and specifications to ensure accurate machining of hydraulic cylinder components (, rods, barrels, pistons, glands).
  • Use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.) to inspect parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure operational uptime.
  • Make offsets and minor edits to G-code programs when necessary to improve quality or productivity.
  • Load raw materials such as steel, aluminum, or other metals used in hydraulic components.
  • Unload finished parts and prepare them for further processing or assembly.

    • CNC Lathe Operator Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to read and write G-Code
  • Perform machine setup and teardown
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T Symbols and specifications
  • Able to use micrometers and calipers
  • Ability to perform machine setup and teardown
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
