Title : Accounting Analyst

Salary : $80K-$95K

Location : South Boston

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned real estate properties
  • Perform variance analysis and support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Handle core accounting functions including loan amortization, prepaids, and account reconciliations
  • Assist with audit preparation and documentation management
  • Track and maintain reserve draw activity and support process improvements
  • Utilize advanced Excel functionality to analyze large data sets and enhance reporting
  • Support system enhancements and automation initiatives
  • Partner with accounting and operations teams on financial analysis and reporting

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-6 years of accounting experience
  • Real estate accounting experience required
  • Solid understanding of debits, credits, and financial statement preparation
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups
  • Experience with property management or accounting systems preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
