About the Position

LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice NP in Arizona!

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens opportunity in Arizona starting Dec 29, 2025. This assignment involves day shifts, Monday through Friday, in an outpatient primary care clinic within a hospital. Candidates should have at least 2 years of chronic care experience, with a strong emphasis on diabetes management.

Responsibilities and Duties

Deliver primary care services in an outpatient clinic setting within the hospital

Manage chronic conditions with a focus on diabetes care

Provide patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care

Document all patient encounters using the RPMS electronic medical record system

Additional Information

Minimum 2 years of chronic care experience required

Experience with diabetes management is important

IHS experience preferred but not required

Must hold Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)

Required certifications : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

Licensure : Any state license accepted
