Production Operator

Using established processes and methods to produce polyurethane products.

Main Accountabilities (include but are not limited to)

• Set up : Identifying assembling maintaining preparation packaging and sorting of molds
• Casting : proper dispensing of urethane mold assembling mold disassembling initial part inspection and waste management
• Finishing : repairing curing trimming final inspection and packaging
• Machine Maintenance : daily calibration temperature monitoring to maintain proper functioning equipment
• Suggests improvement of production methods equipment performance and quality of product
• Troubleshoot machine find solutions and escalate where necessary
• Escalates issues to leadership for resolution
• Record Keeping : maintain daily production and maintenance / repair records
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to FLSmidth safety procedures and regulations.
• Properly maintain company supplied uniforms
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able to interpret blueprints Must have knowledge of health and safety requirements including but not limited to fire hazards compressed gases electrical chemical and mechanical devices

Education Experience and Skills

High School Diploma or GED 5 years experience in a manufacturing and / production environment and / or equivalent combination of experience and education As part of job enrichment and at the companys discretion cross training in other areas will be given
