Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring Epic experience and an active Oregon RN license.
Responsibilities
Work in a blended cardiovascular ICU / intermediate care unit with 18 CVICU and 12 CVIMCU bedsCare for patients aged 16 and older with primary cardiac diagnoses including heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, cardiothoracic surgery, IABP therapy, pacemaker insertion, arrhythmias, STEMI / NSTEMI, and moreNight shift position, working three 12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00–07 : 30), with options for 36 or 48 hours per weekFrequent floating between CVICU, ICU, and PCU, with required floating to an affiliate hospital approximately 15 minutes awayEMR : Epic; experience is requiredProvide specialized care for post-cardiac arrest, post-surgical, and advanced cardiac intervention patientsParticipate as a member of a multidisciplinary cardiovascular teamComprehensive training provided, including for IABP, CRRT, targeted temperature management, and ventricular assist devicesCompletion of up to 8 hours of non-billable modules required prior to start and annuallyStrict RTO policy; time off must be finalized at submission and cannot be changed post-submissionNo holiday block scheduling accommodatedLocal candidates are accepted at the same rateFirst time travelers are eligible for considerationBusiness casual attire and appropriate scrubs requiredRequirements
