Summary of Job Duties :

This position is located at UAMS Batesville Family Medical Center. The LPN provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This position participates in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care to a select group of patients. The LPN practices within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas, the National Association for Practical Nurse Education Services, Inc. Code of Ethics, and hospital policies and procedures and adheres to department and unit standards of care. The duties of the LPN contributes in the effort to further the mission of UAMS : To improve the health and health care of Arkansans.
