Endpoint Engineer (Chicago)

Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endpoint Engineer for a critical role focused on modern device management and operational excellence based in Chicago, IL.

The Contract Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of all endpoints, ensuring high operational readiness, security, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who can execute complex deployments and upskill existing engineers through expert guidance and coaching, while also demonstrating strong communication skills in a customer-facing role.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Endpoint Engineering & Lifecycle Management :

• Provide expert, hands-on engineering support for all endpoints (Windows, macOS, Mobile), managing device lifecycle, configuration, and operational readiness.
• Lead the initial setup and configuration (Standing up MDM) and execution of Mobile Device Management (MDM) deployment, particularly using Intune.
• Provide advanced, high-level troubleshooting for complex endpoint issues.
