Lead Technical Training Engineer (Starlink)

A Lead Technical Training Engineer is driven by the fundamental belief that education and knowledge are power. The ideal candidate brings applicable industry experience to the table and will be armed with strong communication skills and an innovative problem-solving ability. Responsibilities :

• Serve as the team lead for training engineers, training specialists and technical trainers, with operational responsibility.
• Set priorities for team and manages day to day activities.
• Mentor and monitor the team's personal development and performance.
• Act as the technical point of contact for all training requirements.
• Manage and serve as the business system owner for Learning Management System, Personnel Qualifications, and Training Engineering Masters.
• Lead trainings of all planning functions in the use of training EMs. Own all training Engineering Masters (EM), including test plans.
• Lead standardization of training methods across departments at the site; including, on-the-job training (OJT), live internal course offerings, and external course offerings.
• Act as point of contact for ensuring training courses are up to date and conform with current specifications.
• Lead design for all hardware and training aids used for hands-on technical training courses.
• Lead development and deliver systems-based training applications (WARP, MES, RTFM, Etc).
• Lead new course content development, including the ability to build new training courses to align with engineering specifications.
• Lead training modules (classroom and online) for SpaceX personnel on a variety of technical topics.
• Develop process specifications and research on new technologies.
• Engage production management, engineering, quality, and subject matter experts to gather required technical information on complex manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Monitor human error trends as a result of training to assess training impacts and provide solutions to demonstrate a downward trend.
