Description :

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any associated facilities.

RNs must pass an exam during orientation to ensure understanding of skills learned.

This is an open book exam where resources will be provided, and a 90% is required to pass.

Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care.

Refusal to remove nails will result in termination of contract.

The weekend requirement is every third weekend with nights being Friday and Saturday and days being Saturday and Sunday.

Self-scheduling is allowed, but no shifts are guaranteed until the schedule is finalized.

The unit has 27 beds and serves patients of all ages.

Nurse aids, EMTs, and paramedics are available for support on each shift.

Phlebotomy is available for lab draws.

Shift options include 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a.

Rotating holiday requirements are in place.

There are no floating requirements within this position.

Requests for time off must be made upfront, and additional requests will not be approved.

The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment and 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks.

The charting system used is Epic.

A BSN is required for this position.

This role is set in an acute care setting and operates within a trauma level 2 environment.
