Working closely with talented Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers, you will build and evolve the customer-facing products that define Nateras digital experience. / ppPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / pulliCollaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to design and implement user interfaces that are performant, accessible, and scalable. / liliDrive the architecture and design of complex frontend systems using modern frameworks and libraries. / liliPerform peer code reviews, mentor other developers, and champion best practices in frontend development. / liliTranslate business and design requirements into modular, reusable, and maintainable UI components. / liliEnsure the highest standards of UI / UX quality, including responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. / liliOptimize application performance and loading times, focusing on frontend efficiency and user satisfaction. / liliPartner with backend teams to design and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs efficiently. / liliParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, implementation, testing, and release. / liliAdvocate for continuous improvement in frontend tooling, build processes, and testing strategies. / liliContribute to documentation, testing, and technical compliance initiatives, including HIPAA-related best practices. / liliMust complete training relating to HIPAA / PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire. / liliMust maintain a current status on Natera training requirements. / li / ulpQUALIFICATIONS / pulliBS degree in computer science, comparable program, or equivalent / lili7+ years of experience building secure, scalable, customer-facing web applications. / liliExpertise in modern frontend frameworks such as React (preferred), Vue, or Angular. / liliStrong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 / Sass, and responsive design principles. / liliExperience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar) and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). / liliProficiency in RESTful and / or GraphQL API integration. / liliFamiliarity with UI / UX best practices, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility. / liliExperience with AWS, CI / CD pipelines, and Docker is a plus. / liliExposure to backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Java, or Ruby on Rails) is a bonus but not required. / liliStrong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. / liliExcellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. / liliKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES / li / ululliAdvanced knowledge of React, TypeScript, Sass, and frontend architecture patterns. / liliFamiliarity with micro-frontend or modular component design. / liliUnderstanding of web performance optimization and frontend security principles. / liliKnowledge of AWS Services (S3, CloudFront, Amplify) and Docker. / liliExperience with CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar). / liliCommitment to code quality, testing, and maintainability. / li / ulpThe pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
