Zambia Licensed Deputy General Counsel

A company is looking for a Deputy General Counsel in Zambia.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage the Legal Department to support the company's exploration programs and mining operations

Create legal processes and policies, and oversee contract management and compliance

Provide legal advice on transactions and represent the company in negotiations across various jurisdictions

Required Qualifications

At least 10 years of experience in a legal role within corporate organizations or private practice

Experience providing legal services to top corporations in Zambia

Leadership experience managing teams of attorneys and staff

Degree in law from a recognized university; a Master's degree is an advantage

Member of the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) with a valid practicing certificate
