Part-Time File Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time File Clerk to join our Boston, MA office. You'll play a vital role in supporting our legal team on diverse and complex civil litigation matters, including construction, transportation, premises liability, products liability, cybersecurity, business litigation, and education law. This position offers an hourly rate of $18 - $20 per hour, commensurate with experience, and a flexible in-office schedule of 10-15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supporting the vendor payment process.
  • Cataloging, retrieving, and maintaining case-related files.
  • Managing both electronic and hard copy filing systems.
  • Closing case files.
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned.

What Matters Most

  • Eagerness to learn the legal field.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing file systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF software.
  • Comfortable with tasks such as scanning, merging / separating PDFs, and naming conventions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
