As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Pay Rate : $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Thur 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

Fri 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or security-related incidents.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and / or disruptive behavior within the location.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees, patients, and visitors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
