Job Title : Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator
Job Description
As an Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator, you will work directly with patients, conducting visits and collaborating with research nurses. You will have the support of data and regulatory teams, though a basic understanding of these areas is required. The role involves working within a disease-specific team, potentially on Phase 1 trials. You will participate in recruitment activities and contribute to the inclusion / exclusion process, supporting a variety of studies without owning or leading them. Patient visits are evenly distributed, with no more than 10 patients per week.

Work Environment
Work hours are flexible, starting between 7 : 00-9 : 00 am, with 8-hour shifts that may vary based on patient schedules. The role is based onsite at the cancer center, with the possibility of working from home one day a week after the initial three months. The position offers opportunities for growth and specialization, with access to extensive internal training and the potential for higher pay with SOCRA or ACRP certification. The new leadership provides structured onboarding, training, and development to ensure manageable workloads and defined roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00 / hr.
