Position : Recreation Program Leader - Aquatics
Department : Parks, Arts, Recreation, and Community Services
Hourly Range : $18.31 - $21.20
Classification : Temporary
Non-Exempt – Overtime Eligible
General Summary :
Under general supervision, a Recreation Program Leader will assist by performing clerical duties such as answering phones, taking messages, registration for classes, handling cash and deposit forms, and other administrative work. Under the Aquatic’s Division, all staff must train to become part of the facilities specialized safety team.

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following :
Greet clients and visitorsHandle incoming calls and other communications at the front desk (fax, emails, etc.)Perform general office duties and provide excellent customer serviceHandle the cash register and perform daily depositsUpdate paperwork, maintain documents, write memorandums, and word processingEnroll participants for lesson registrations and make transfers when applicableHelp organize and maintain office common areasMaintain supply inventory and assist with cleaning duties around the facilityParticipate in all Inservice meetings and training (Lifeguard, CPR, AED, First Aid. Training may include swimming and other water conditioning.The duties listed above are not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may also perform other related duties as assigned by their immediate supervisor. This position is considered non-exempt.
Required Skills :
