Purpose of Job : Provides fast, friendly service by answering all incoming calls in a professional manner and actively engaging with customers to assess and fulfill their needs. Maintains sales area, ensuring that it is clean, fully stocked and well-organized. Prepares invoices and accepts payments using computer. May make deliveries using company vehicle and test / install car batteries for walk-in customers.

Job Components :

• Proactively engage customers in a professional manner.
• Drive increased sales by asking open-ended questions to determine customers' needs, answering questions, discussing available options (good, better, best) and suggesting related items (upselling).
• Answer all incoming calls promptly and in a professional manner.
• Accurately prepare invoices and accept payments using computer.
• Ensures sales floor is clean, stocked and well-organized.
• May use company vehicle to make local deliveries.
• May test / install car batteries for walk-in customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
