Job Description
PacSci EMC, an operating company under Ralliant , is seeking an Electronics Engineering Intern to join our team for Summer 2026 . In this role, you will support the development, documentation, and improvement of electronic hardware designs used in aerospace and defense applications, including printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), cable harnesses, and integrated electronic components. This internship provides hands-on experience partnering with design engineers, supplier partners, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are robust, manufacturable at scale, and compliant with performance, quality, and reliability requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in updating electrical schematics and PCB layout documentation in accordance with engineering change processes.
- Support creation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs), part specifications, and configuration control documentation.
- Perform part research and assist in evaluating alternate component options.
- Record test results, anomalies, and support root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Supplier Quality to troubleshoot build issues.
- Review supplier datasheets and manufacturing guidelines to ensure alignment with design intent.
- Participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) reviews.
- Identify documentation gaps or process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Working toward a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.Understanding of circuit theory and component behavior.Ability to read schematics and datasheets.Familiarity with standard test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope). - Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred :
Experience with PCB layout tools (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD).Soldering or hardware prototyping experience.Exposure to configuration control processes.Interest in aerospace or mission-critical electronics.Attributes for Success
