Job Summary :

The Vascular Technician will work in a Vascular Medicine Lab within NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Medical Center. This is a full-time weekday position within an outpatient lab located within the Division of Cardiology and works collaboratively with Vascular Surgery, Cardiology and Medicine to perform all major areas of vascular testing. The incumbent will be responsible for performing vascular testing independently, writing report worksheets, communicating with patients and providers to provide quality and compassionate care, and assisting in all day-to-day functions in the operation of the Vascular Lab. Special consideration will be given to candidates with previous vascular surgery experience and / or additional echocardiography skills.

Job Responsibilities :

• Explain procedure to patient, review and record medical history to facilitate optimum diagnostic results, prepare patients for testing and screen all date for accuracy.
• Perform Duplex and physiologic testing according to IAC accredited laboratory

protocols.

Job Requirements :

Hourly Rate Ranges : $46.39 - $62.50

Note : Our salary offers will fall within these ranges based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skill set, training and education.
