Role : DC Process Engineer - Product Operations
Location : Austin, TX (Hybrid T-W-T Onsite)
Duration : 6 months
Note : Team member will need to travel to Europe as a part of project start up. They will need the ability to travel to Cork, Ireland for the systems development and training as well as travel to US DC for the site start up and ramp support.
Description
As a DC Process Engineer you are responsible for the design, implementation and support of excellent Manufacturing & Distribution Center Processes . The main skills required involve Software Engineering skills paired with an understanding of Manufacturing Process & Hardware Engineering. Your responsibilities include :
- Analysis of business requirements and translation to Shop Floor Software (SFS) system configurations (e.g. workflows, recipes, process routes / rules)
- Configuration, testing and support of end to end process implementation
- Partner with Test Engineering (TE) for SFS controls for automated product testing
- Maintenance of process and product data (e.g. product BOMs, specs and master data)
- Continuous process improvement and optimization, driving key performance metrics (Yield, UPH, Order Cycle Time, Cost, Scrap, DPPM, CPK etc.)
- Data analysis, monitoring and quality assurance (product genealogy, test results, key performance indicators, etc.)
- Work with core software development team to define future SFS system enhancements
- Provide direction and support to production support teams for technical considerations
- Documentation creation and release
- Participate in new projects for global implementation
- Work closely with Design / HW / SW / Operations teams worldwide
Minimum Qualifications
B.Eng, M.Eng in Electronic / Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering (or equivalent)Education & Experience
Problem solving, communication and documentation skillsExperience using scripting languages such as UNIX shell / Perl / Python.MS Excel, data skills and experience with statistical analysisProject management skillsFamiliarity with Apple hardware and software technologiesPreferred Additional Skills
Knowledge of IP networking and local area network (LAN) infrastructure.Ability to diagnose and resolve network connectivity issuesHardware failure analysis skills
