A growing organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team. This in-office position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing across a dynamic, multi-entity operation.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role :

Process vendor invoices and maintain updated vendor records

The Accounts Payable Specialist will prepare weekly check runs and enter manual checks as needed

Resolve vendor inquiries and sales tax discrepancies

Coordinate invoice approvals with department managers

The Accounts Payable Specialist will enter monthly journal entries and maintain W9 documentation

Assist with year-end 1099 preparation

The Accounts Payable Specialist will support finance leadership with special projects

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role :

2-3 years of experience in accounts payable and general ledger

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Familiarity with SAGE Intacct is a plus

Team player with a proactive mindset
