Travel Nurse RN - Pediatric OR - $3,113 per week in Needham, MA

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Pediatric Operating Room Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift : 8 hours (07 : 00 - 15 : 30) Experience : Extensive experience preferred License : BLS, PALS required; ACLS preferred Certifications : BLS, PALS, ACLS preferred Must-Have : - Epic experience - Experience using Arthrex, Smith & Nephew, and Synthes / DePuy arthroscopy systems, instrumentation, and implants Description : Float as needed between satellite operating room locations. Work 40 hours per week with variable shift lengths (8 or 10 hours) depending on the week. Potential for short call shifts until 7 : 30 PM. Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating in multiple service lines, including orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, general surgery, GYN, GI, plastic surgery, dental, and dermatology cases. Primary service line will be orthopedic and sports medicine. Duties will include working on arthroscopies of the shoulder, knee, hip, and small joints, as well as general upper and lower extremity orthopedics and orthopedic trauma cases. Serve as a preceptor, providing teaching, guidance, and support to staff and new team members.
