Overview

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to support Department of Defense (DoD) programs and projects at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The position requires over 7 years of experience in cost analysis / cost estimating. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills / experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct EVM and / or cost data analyses and develop cost estimates for Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Program Office budgets, Contract Proposals, and other cost products as requested
  • Conduct monthly / quarterly analysis on cost-related CDRLs submitted by industry partners
  • Provide analytical support for program controls and reporting, and financial execution and budgets
  • Coordinate and defend results with and across other organizations and contractors

Skills Required

  • Bachelors Degree required, preferably in mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics, or business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in cost estimating software (e.g. ACEIT, Crystal Ball)
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, regulations, and best practices pertaining to cost estimating and / or Earned Value Management (EVM) for fixed-wing aircraft Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs)
  • Life cycle cost estimate development, risk / uncertainty analysis, and model documentation
  • Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) and Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) contract requirements development and data analysis
  • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development with MIL-STD-881 background for fixed-wing aircraft systems
  • Experience with proposal analysis and preparing EVM and / or cost-related Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
  • DoD Secret Clearance

    • Education

    Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
