Contract Logistics Specialist

The Warehouse Lead has general responsibility for coordinating and leading assigned warehouse activities on a daily basis. Under the direction of a Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager, the Warehouse Lead is responsible for directing activities in a manner consistent with established goals and company guidelines. Located in Reno, NV.

How you create impact :

• Direct daily warehouse activities within the assigned department.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Make recommendations to the Warehouse Supervisor on processes to improve operations.
• Interact with Warehouse Supervisor to establish goals.
• Direct the activities of the warehouse personnel to achieve established objectives.
• Assist in developing processes to ensure the efficient operation and utilization of all warehouse equipment.
• Assist in the implementation of processes to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property.
• Oversee the warehouse housekeeping program.
• Ensure current, accurate inventory control and customer orders are picked and shipped timely manner.
• Adhere to Kuehne + Nagel's Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Program policies and procedures.
