We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for interacting and assisting patients during appointment, cleaning and sterilization of dental instruments, as well as other tasks. We are looking for a self-motivated and energetic individual who is also detail oriented.

Responsibilities :
Provide surgical support to the oral surgeon chairsideAssist in oral surgery procedures including IV sedations with competencyTake, develop and label radiographs appropriatelySterilize instrumentation and prepare tray setupsSetup required instrumentation in sterile environmentProvide pre and post-operative instructions as directed by the surgeonMonitor inventory to ensure office efficiency, including but not limited to expiration dates, drug counts and crash cartMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Flexibility in scheduling is required for all positionsRequired to travel between Philadelphia and Delaware County offices. ( Center City, South Philadelphia, Clifton and Folsom)Contributes to team effort by accomplishing and supporting as assignedEDUCATIONAL / TRAINING & CERTIFICATES REQUIREMENTS :
High School Diploma / GED requiredPennsylvania certification in Oral Radiology (Completed or Pending Completion in 3-6 months)CPR certification (Offered On-site As Needed)Valid Drivers License & Automobile Insurance
