Summary

Creative Kids is looking to expand our teaching staff! If you have a passion for working with children, understand the importance of play, and enjoy having fun, this is the place for you! We are hiring for a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with the hours of 7 : 00-4 : 00 for our Junior Kindergarten classroom (wrap around 4K)

Duties

Job duties include :

Having a positive attitude and reliable work ethic

Planning and assisting in guiding the class through developmentally appropriate lesson plan activities

Assisting the children with meals, bathroom hygiene, and kindergarten readiness

Actively participate during playtime, indoor and outdoor

Communicating with both the children and adults to effectively meet the needs of our families

Guide assistant teachers to keep them actively engaged in the daily activities of the classroom

Most of all, have fun!

Each classroom has two teachers that share the responsibilities of lesson planning, teaching, and minor cleaning of their room

Requirements

Has the physical ability to perform the duties of the position, with or without accommodations

Experience and certification are a plus, but we are also willing to train

High school diploma or GED are required

Infant / Child / Adult CPR with AED

We offer training in SIDS, Abusive Head Trauma, and Mandated Reporter Training upon hire, if needed
