Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrols in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. Your presence will support a secure environment as you conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in fostering a positive atmosphere through clear communication and a caring approach, reflecting Allied Universal's commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the assigned area.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and / or emergency services as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols while maintaining a professional presence at all times.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
