MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Procurement Analyst to join our team in Doral, FL .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Responsible for maintaining audit files with required documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Enter and track procurements in the corporate purchasing system and designated material trackers, maintaining meticulous records of all transactions. Reconcile p-card transactions monthly
- Track delivery dates of procured items and provide updates to the customer accordingly, proactively managing expectations and ensuring timely delivery
- Develop Excel spreadsheets to support procurement and project leads in analyzing data and milestone information, contributing to data-driven decisionmaking
- Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers, leveraging their expertise to optimize procurement costs and efficiency
- Interface with suppliers, customers, and requesters to manage project timelines and meet test support requirements; prepare and process requisitions; and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies for the organization, adhering to all relevant regulations and internal policies
- Solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions, demonstrating creativity and initiative in addressing procurement challenges
- Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within their own team and other related teams, acting as a key resource for procurement expertise. Work within broad guidelines and policies to explain complex, difficult, and sensitive information, building consensus and fostering collaboration among stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field necessary to perform Senior Procurement Analyst duties and nine (9) or more years of professional experience or an equivalent amount of education and experience outlined below.High School Diploma and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degreeA candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.Five (5) years of relevant experience in procurement analytics or a related field.Deep understanding of procurement principles, methodologies, and best practices. Expertise in contract negotiation and vendor management.Knowledge of procurement regulations and policies. Experience with procurement systems and tools.Desired Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience leading large DoD procurement activities. Experience with Government procurement regulations and procedures. Knowledge of strategic sourcing and category management. Experience with e-procurement systems and tools. Familiarity with contract law and legal aspects of procurement.Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)).Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.Clearance Requirements :
Must have an active secret clearance.Physical Requirements :
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
