We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector / Document Processor to join our team in Aurora, Illinois. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This is a Contract position, offering the opportunity to grow within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities :
- Implement and uphold quality assurance procedures throughout the quality system to ensure compliance.
- Conduct inspections at various stages, including first article, receiving, in-process, and final checks, while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Review and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to assess product quality.
- Train new team members in effective assembly techniques and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to verify adherence to established quality requirements.
- Perform measurements on materials and products using tools such as rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
- Operate electronic inspection equipment and utilize related software efficiently.
- Prepare customer approval documents in alignment with organizational and industry standards.
- Complete data entry tasks and retrieve information using Microsoft Office applications.
- Provide support to other functions within the Quality Department as assigned.
The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 / HR. Benefits available to contract / contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract / contract professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan.
At least one year of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing setting.Proficiency in documenting data using Microsoft Excel.Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers is preferred.Strong understanding of manual testing and quality assurance principles.Experience with PPAP processes and quality assurance testing.Competence in performing computer-based data entry tasks.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
