Must-Have : Siemens MRI experience preferred

Description :

The position involves performing MRI scans in a clinical setting.

Common types of imaging / studies performed include head, abdomen, and pelvis.

The technologist will not assist with procedures.

Scanners utilized in the department include GE X-ray and Siemens MRI.

Staff may be required to float to other areas if qualified, including X-ray and CT.

The average number of scans / studies performed per day varies.

The department uses Centricity for tracking imaging studies.

A lead tech is available 24 / 7 in the department.

Radiologists are in-house during the day until 6 PM and are off-site at night.

Starting IVs is not a requirement for this role.

The manager will handle scheduling; self-scheduling is not an option.

Shifts are eight hours long, spanning Thursday to Monday evenings.

The candidate must be flexible and adaptable to department needs.

Scrubs are not provided, but options in ceil blue are available through the facility.

There are no standby or call requirements for this position.

Training includes a tour of the unit followed by one week of department-specific instruction.

Flexibility in working during weekends and holidays is expected.

The charting system used is Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient.
