TITLE : FDOT Instructor - PSC

The Florida Public Safety Institute is looking for Law Enforcement Traffic Oriented Instructors to teach any of the following FDOT Tuition Free Courses :

• Basic Traffic Homicide Investigation
• Advanced Traffic Homicide Investigation
• Traffic Homicide Reconstruction
• Crash Scene Mapping with Speed Lasers
• Speed Measurement Course
• Speed Measurement Instructor Course
• Breath Test Operator Course

Potential Instructors should be comfortable teaching the Traffic Homicide or Speed Measurement Courses.

Minimum Experience / Education : high school diploma or equivalent. Instructors MUST have their Current FDLE General Instructor Certification or their Speed Measurement Instructor Certifications.

FDLE Instructor Exemptions may be made on a case by case basis.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING : Knowledge of the following : State of Florida Criminal Justices Standards and Training rules and regulations. The selected individual must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills; sound judgement; problem solving skills; and possess positive motivational skills.
