Position Summary

The CT Technologist operates Computerized Tomography and Radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic CT scans and radiographs under indirect supervision. Responsibilities include proper processing of patient records, collaborating with Radiologists to evaluate imaging, and obtaining additional views as needed. This role also assists with invasive procedures and performs additional duties aligned with training and skill level.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans and X-rays (primarily CT; some X-ray required).

Operate Canon CT and Rad X-ray equipment.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of all patient imaging and documentation.

Work collaboratively with Radiologists to evaluate images and obtain additional imaging as requested.

Assist during invasive procedures within scope of training.

Position, lift, and transfer patients safely; adjust devices and administer contrast injections.

Maintain a high level of communication with patients, physicians, and staff.

Utilize computer systems and filing systems to manage patient records.

Initiate CPR when required (CPR certification required).

Demonstrate sensitivity to population-specific needs with dignity and respect.
