Overview

NaphCare is hiring Night Shift LPNs to join our team of medical professionals in Jacksonville, Florida where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Jacksonville Pre-Trial Detention Center .

Shift Differentials include $3.00 / hour weeknights and $4.00 / hour weekend nights. Templated schedule including rotating weekends. Shift hours are from 7 : 00pm-7 : 30am.

As a Correctional Nurse, you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have various duties to keep you engaged including performing physical assessments, administering medications, managing chronic illnesses, and responding to emergencies. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities

As an LPN , you will play a critical role in our continued mission to provide quality healthcare that protects the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Duties and responsibilities may include and not be limited to :

Performing patient assessments, interviewing patients about current health problems, medication history

Physical Capabilities :

Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
