State Licensed Tax Senior Associate

A company is looking for a State and Local Tax Senior Associate to join their SALT team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the completion of sales / use tax consulting projects within deadlines and budgets

Participate in all stages of state and local sales / use tax engagements, including data gathering and taxability analysis

Support clients through state sales / use tax examinations and audit defense planning

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of tax experience with state and local sales / use tax concepts

Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting and / or taxation, or related advanced degree

Minimum of forty hours of continuing professional education required annually

Proficiency in tax legal research software and Microsoft Office programs

Positive attitude with flexibility and adaptability
