Paid Internship

Work collaboratively with the CAP Contract & Procurement Services team to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Contracting and Procuring commodities and services.

Position Responsibilities :

• Work with CAP Contract & Procurement Services staff to develop, solicit, and administer contract documents for the procurement of equipment, materials, supplies, and services necessary to support the CAP operation.
• Assist with drafting informal and formal solicitation documents.
• Assist in the formal evaluation process.
• Assist with contract documentation audits to show compliance with federal and state laws and the CAP's Administrative Policy Purchasing.
• Assist with rectifying any discrepancies in shipping, receiving, or accounts payable.
• Assist with pre-proposal / post-award conferences, and site visits.
• At end of the 11-week engagement, intern will prepare and deliver a presentation which includes : a summary of the work, what he / she learned, an evaluation of the intern experience at CAP, and recommendations for future interns.

Paid sick leave. There are no other benefits associated with this position.

This internship is for a full-time paid ($23 / hour) work experience M-Th for the duration of 5 / 18 / 26 7 / 30 / 26. This position does not come with additional company benefits. Can you commit to participating in this summer Internship Program for at least 90% of the full 11-week period?
