Social Worker

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Social Work - Position Summary: Interacts with physicians, staff, patient|family and outside agencies. Direct patient care support functions are provided to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and frail elderly patients. Assesses, plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates options and services to meet the patient's needs through evaluation of available resources to provide quality, cost effective outcomes.

Location:Dallas, Texas
Type: Permanent, full-time, evening shift

Licensure| Certification|Registration:
-Current Texas Licensure as a Social Worker required;
-Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association required;
-Master's Degree and above in Social Work required.
-MSW, LCSW or LCP preferred.

Experience:
-One-year of recent social work experience preferred (ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)
-NEEDS TO HAVE HOSPITAL DISCHARGE PLANNING EXP.
