Job Title : RN - Emergency Room - Per Diem

Position Summary :

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care within the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role manages patients with urgent and emergent medical conditions, ensuring timely interventions, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide safe, effective nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on clinical condition and response.
• Communicate promptly with physicians regarding condition changes, diagnostic results, and care needs.
• Respond rapidly and effectively to medical emergencies and trauma situations.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA, patient privacy, and mandatory reporting laws.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives.
• Float to other units within demonstrated competency as assigned.
