An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for their Detroit team!
Responsibilities :
- Project / client management
- Prepare project documentation including proposals and administering project contracts
- Supervise staff or perform the following :
- Develop / execute a project specific commissioning plan (design review system installation verification and functional testing)
- Develop spreadsheet analyses / written reports
- Perform field assessments and on-site commissioning activities
- Perform functional testing of building systems (MEP / control systems)
- Complete USGBC LEED commissioning tasks / credit completion
- Use energy simulation software to perform building energy / resource use analysis
- Ensure QA / QC standards are met by reviewing work prepared by others
- Perform working planning / management of the commissioning process to the available hours in the work plan
- Attend meetings with clients authorities having jurisdiction and other professionals
- Assist with business development
Requirements :
Strong knowledge of MEP / FP building systems design / construction processes building automation systems and test and balance process / procedures
Salary is commensurate with experience.
