Job Summary

Make a real difference in young athletes lives as a Weekend Flag Football Official with i9 Sports! More than just calling flags youll be a mentor coach and role model creating a fun and positive environment where kids can learn grow and love the game.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a fun educational and safe environment for all players by fully understanding and enforcing the i9 Sports rulebook.
  • Promote sportsmanship and fair play through teaching and demonstrating core concepts.
  • Set up and break down game / practice field equipment efficiently.
  • Manage time and scorekeeping during games tailoring instruction and competition to age-appropriate levels.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive and encouraging attitude towards players and colleagues.
  • Provide superior customer service to participants and their families.
  • Assist volunteer coaches during practice sessions by leading drills and answering questions.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive coaching environment.

    • Qualifications / Requirements

  • Effectively interact with players coaches and spectators fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Possess at least 2 years of experience as a player coach or official in the specific sport.
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to solve problems that arise during shifts independently.
  • Prioritize player safety by taking decisive action and displaying proactive awareness of potential risks.
  • Maintain a cheerful and encouraging attitude while building strong relationships with players coaches and families.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekends and evenings for the season duration (approximately 7 weeks).
  • Possess a smartphone with internet access.
  • Must successfully pass a National Criminal Background Check.

    Compensation : $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
